Hi guys,

We got a call this morning from Auburn City Council advising us that due to the recent heavy rains, Silverwater Park was closed to all sport activities this week, and wouldn't be suitable for cars to drive on this Sunday. They don't want their grounds getting wrecked so we have to accept their assessment of the situation. (We don't want cars getting bogged on there either, especially if it meant we had to pay for repairs to the reserve).

The plan at this stage is postpone the event - we're looking at either holding off till spring, or doing it in a few weeks' time (which will put us fairly close to winter). Like you guys, this has caused enormous inconvenience (and cost!) for us, so please be patient with us while we sort out a new date.

We'll let you know as soon as we have more information.

That's a bummer. You could always try Red Yard, at Auburn, where we used to hold ToyotaFest.

For me, a delay is welcomed, purely because I couldn't last a whole day at the moment, but hopefully can in a few weeks time.
