    Hi there mate,
Are you talking about blow through turbo with mikuni carbs?

    Or...

Have you got a 3TGTE which you wish to use 'instead' of a 2TG in a naturally aspirated format?

If you wish to do the blow through turbo thing then I believe people get great results using webers (with large lashings of patience). As for mikuni carbs in blow through format I'm sure it can be done, it just happens that you are pretty much on your own!

For running a 3TG minus the TE i.e. naturally aspirated then you are going to be battling lag quite considerably... In turbo format as per factory spec these engines ran somewhere in the vicinity of 7.8:1 compression I believe. Without the turbo spooling up to help fill the cylinders its going to be a pretty doe-ey drive all round. You can compensate to an extent with large lashings of static timing, but its still only a bandaid!

Either way I think this is less than a great idea... Of course it can work - you can make anything work if you are determined enough!

    Cheers,
    Jason

Off the top of my head and without access to a picture of the port and bolt spacing, I'd say it may not be a bolt on. There is a couple of threads on here that have pics of each T series manfold that I also cannot see on this PC.

If the port and bolt spacing/pattern is the same as 2T-G then yes it is easy. On a stock 3T-GTE it will run poorly as Jason mentioned as low compression will mean no low or mid range, but a pair of 40mm Solex/Mikuni can be jetted down with #28 Outer Venturies and will make the motor drive enough to get by.
Compression it up, add cams and run twin 40mm Solex and it would be great.

If port and bolt pattern not the same then a bit of work is needed to match it all up and then same as the above paragraph.

As for blowing through Solex/Mikuni, well, my vote is it is easier to do than with Weber or Dellorto.

Well if a picture speaks a thousand words then I only need Frosty's first paragraph to tell you there will be quite a bit of custom fabrication involved to make this work!
