    Default 5" Aluminium bends

    hi guys

Im changing my turbo intake pipe. the gt42 has a 5" intake but im strugling to find a supplier of 5" mandrel bends.

Ive spoken to a few steel suppliers, exhaust shops and even some mechanical shops. most will only go as far as 4".

does anyone know where i could find these?

i was hoping to cut it etc myself and then have a fabricator weld it together before i grind the welds and polish it up.

    I've never used them personally

Might also have something else on the website that will suit better...

Lobsterback is another option that springs to mind

I've used JNT a lot, of you dont need more than 180deg of bends then you can just buy a single donut halve, chop that in two and weld it up.

A bandsaw makes chopping the welded bends up a hell of a lot easier.
