Hi all
Started to wire my Microtech into the wagon, First time I've ever wired an ECU. Now I picked up the current 7M with the loom attached so it hasn't been to difficult.
However I have run into one problem. One wire I can't find an the micro tech diagrams.
I using these to diagrams

The wire I can't find a destination for. Runs straight from the coil packs plug. Its yellow and old mate had it going to a relay.
Is this ignition to the coils??
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Stitt

I'd say your spot on, wire is actually orange.
I plugged it into the coil pack the the coil pack has three wires, 1 from each pack into the male of this plug. So I will earth my mystery connector
thanks

Or are the coil packs like the Injectors, they get a straight power feed and the earth through the ECU??
I had a second thought and thought this may have been a reason the last guy had the wire off a relay

Coils usually get a +12V Ignition feed on their + terminal and the coil - terminal is switched through the igniter. (or ecu if it has internal igniters).

I'll see if I can get some 7MGTE diagrams as the coils still have the factory wiring
