Unless its got some sort of sender that just sends the signal to the cabin, I would stick with engine bay mounted.
This is Prob the most basic and stupid question but i thought i would ask
Fuel pressure gauge? any real location to have these? as i see some in the engine bay and some in the cabin? does it relay matter where? will in engine bay be fine? or should i put it in the cabin?

Engine bay for that, best not to have fuel going to the inside of the car!
Cheers

when i had carb set up 4a i had it in engine bay cause you cant get a electronic sender for a low pressure gauge, being mechanical i didnt want fuel inside
for the jzx81 i have it inside the car because you can get electronic sender unitsIts reads 0 to 90 psi
that one is defently for the engine bay
The set that shown in your photo (mechanical fuel pressure guage) is definately should stay in engine bay...
You better get a set of Electronics Fuel pressure guage that can lives safely in your cabin :-)
Nice to have, but is it really necessary? As far as I am concerned 99.999999>% of vehicles on the planet do not have one fitted. It is after all a diagnostic instrument.

fwiw, don't connect a guage directly the rail using aluminum fittings. the vibration will make them crack/fail and you'll have an exciting (and expensive) engine bay fire.
for a extra $80 dollers for it, Why not would rather be safe then sorry,
And i know of many cars with them fitted all big HP cars, what is the point of having a adjustable FPR if you dont know what you are adjusting to? Car it is going on is 300+kw at the wheels and running meth injectors

I use a Cyberdyne electronic FP gauge in my MKIV. It's a cheap alternative and serves it's purpose well as a safe/accurate indash display. I tested it against a handheld shop tester and got the same results with both gauges. One thing I dont like ... The red leds are a little too bright , even with the headlight activated dimmer.
Mounted in clock location for now.
