Spontaneous Catch up with Doug Clark - Group C Celica driver

Hi folks

Dave from the car club was talking to Doug Clark at Phillip Island on the weekend. Doug drives the Group C Ra23 that is at most historic events, and has driven various cars including Celicas and Corollas at Bathurst.

Doug offered to have a catch up with the club members one night this week.. I thought maybe we could meet up at the Emerald Hotel, buy him dinner and listen to his tales.

Does any one have a preference for tonight / Wednesday / Thursday? Dave is thinking Thursday, if it works for Doug.

Any ways, post up if you are keen, and I will see what we can organise.

any ways here are a couple of crap phone pics... interior is incredibly mint.. the dash plastics haven't even cracked to the right of the steering column shroud like they all do!!









Lots of interesting info on setting up an old racer and what they can and can't do... including she still uses the rear drums and they interchange wheel cylinders from different Toyotas to adjust the bias.
