Does it still turn over when you try to start it?
Was the tensioner adjusted correctly after the belt was swapped (maybe it jumped a tooth)?
After an upper end rebuild and timing belt change, MR2 4age was running fine, although not timed yet. Revved and idled well. After idling for 10 or 15 minutes, engine stopped and will not restart. Fuel is good. Havent checked spark yet. Wiring and vaccuum lines are fine. Not sure what would have fouled after running so well and stalling during idle. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Engine turns over fine, just no fire. Tensioner seems good, belt is tight and crank and cams match at TDC. Hard to think it would jump a tooth at idle. No fire at coil or plugs. Gas flow is good, but won't even pop with starter fluid.

Pull a plug and see if there's spark.
If not, check your leads and the wiring for the coil and ignitor all the way back to the ECU.
Thanking you for your help. Not getting fire at either plugs nor coil. Checked wiring and found a loose ground and another connector beneath the intake and corrected. Checked all fuses. No frayed or broken wires. Suspecting coil, or computer glitch, but unsure how to test either. Double checked and fuel flow is good, timing and distributor are good. Anything further would be appreciated.
