oldcorollas,
After reading around I will be getting a NGK with NTK sensor,
Besides my LC1 failure, I have found the LC1 did jump around alot, and have always put it down to sampling rate as MWP suggest, did not try turning it down though.

2 days ago when i filled up at the local Shell, their shitfuel with 4c off was 137c/L.
this morning it was 152c/L
before easter break it was 142-144c/L
i guess the problem is that we have the capacity and willingness to pay... so far...
anyone know if NGK has an official distributor in australia?

I just called NGK australia, and the helpful lady there said that they don't distribute it in Australia. she suggested buying off the internet or from overseas
jumping around a lot is ok if the AFR does jump around (shouldn't away from idle tho?) and your ECU can log it fast enough to be relevant... jumping around can also indicate misfires i guess
so far, Ballenger is $10 cheaper than sparkplugs.com... both have the NTK sensor, wheras other suppliers seem to ship the bosch sensor with the NGK...
Balleneger are on holiday until next week
I've emailed sparkplugs.com abotu the samplign rate, and if it is the same on the analogue output as it is for the display... but still it looks the pick of the bunch..

Hey that sounds really nice OC. I turns out I actually cant use the RPM shown above as it loses sync evey crank revolution on that setting. Oh well, ill keep plugging along. That signal is straight of the factory dizzy(24 tooth wheel, single tooth wheel and a shared ground)(VR+, VR2 and VR-).

my eyes hurt nowbut it looks like that slightly larger spike happens every 23 teeth.
are you sure it has 24 teeth?
also, if you squint, you can see that periodically, 2 of the smaller spiikes are closer together... but they are not phased with the larger spikes... the large spike occurs 1 small spike earlier, relative to the periodicity of the "double small spike" each time...
hmm, should i edit pic?
ok, check out this pic, cut from your previous pic and made bigger...
the red dots are the slightly closer together pulses. they USUALLY occur in 8 pulse "sets", ie, the first two are close, then 6 further apart.
the larger spikes occur every 23 pulses.
BUT the purple line indicates an EXTRA pulse..ie a set of 9 (2 close + 7) instead of 8, and it seems to also be periodic...
(link goes to full size, toymods limits pic width?,, click on link to see proper picture)

Yep I see what you mean, I hadnt actually examined up close until now... All of my MS gear is with a Mate at the moment, he is going to have a fiddle and report back.
what did you have for trigger wheel settings? this is most curious![]()

DUAL Wheel
24 teeth
tooth 1 angle 30
Wheel speed Cam
Second trigger active Rising edge
every rotation of Crank
Whenevr I set the last setting to cam I lose my home signal...
I have since discovered that I might need to combine the two G signals and not use 1 only, still researching...
NGK US replied that the AFX averages over 136ms, not 250ms.
that would mean that it updates 7 times a second, which is better but...
Old, which wires etc are you using? which wheels does the dizzy have? ( i think i missed the detail before)

you want the second trigger at half-crank speed if you are only using one of the two single-tooth trigger sensors.Second trigger active Rising edge
every rotation of Crank
Whenevr I set the last setting to cam I lose my home signal...
