Hi,
As always it was a great day. Would of preferred a couple of hot laps on the track, rather than the slowy 1.5 laps we got. Toymods had some nice cars there and got plenty of interest from visitors. Also nice to see some modded turbo Toymods vehicles making a rwcket down the straight.
We will be there again next year, and hopefully more will Toymods people will attend. We found a nice spot which can take about 20 cars - so good to see if we can get that spot and throw a nice mix of stock classic and modded classic Toyotas.

Yup was a geat day and the weather held out just long enough to see the day out.
We had a good turn out of some outstanding Toymods cars. Every Toymods vehicle looked sensational and it was a great representation for our club.
This event I actually got around to taking my camera out of it's bag and snapped up some pics of a few cars.
So here is our display.....
I am pretty sure I got everyone from Toymods......
It was fantastic to see not only our cars on display but everything, from classic busses through to open wheel race cars. Seeing 5 generations of Lambos on the track together
was pretty cool too.
The couple of laps around the track for us was fun but the skinny little white walls on Frosty don't seem to fill you with the same level of confidence that 235's on all four corners of the GT4 does....
Thanks to all who attended. It was great to catch up with you all and great to put a good face to toymods for the Council of Motor Clubs.

A nice spot??? We couldn't have gotten further away if we tried. I thought it was a crap spot. Hidden away behind the fuckin' shit houses. Surely we'd be better off in amongst it all. Even down with Noel and the other Toyota club. There was not much exposure for our club at all I thought.
Apart from being in a crap spot, it was a really good day. The weather was iffy the whole day but when the sun came out from behind all that cloud cover is was beautiful. There were some awesome cars there as always. Cars you just never ever see anymore.
I got to do a couple of laps in a mate's '57 Chev which was cool and my MS45 was running particularly well after a recent tune-up. All in all a very good day. (Apart from the crap spot we were in)
Cheers, Greg.
Looks like a good event, thanks for sharing the pics!

Was a great day. I didn't mind the spot being away from the mass crowd. We didn't seem to get swallowed in the middle of other displays as I noticed some were.
Glad it didn't rain. Would love to have had a hot lap even with the old 2t
Was a great day! I wasn't there with you Toymodders, but I came over and had a sticky beak. Nice to see a good number of Toyotas at this show nowadays!
