1ggte distributor options, coilpacks?

So my distributor rotor button is fried in my 1ggte, just wondering if any other Toyota, Lexus etc share the same dizzy?

No after market companies make the rotor button including BOSCH. I rang CMI Toyota and they said I'd need to get one through them from Japan for $299!

So my option is to wait till someone replies to my wanted add, or convert to alternate ignition.

Anyone know what is involved in installing a 1ggze's coil-packs?

PM me an address and I will put one in the post, I should have a couple under the house will look this afternoon. You would need to go to aftermarket computer to change ignition.

Yeah I figured it would involve a 1ggze ecu since they run coil packs. I'll pm you my address.
