Best of the locals (some may recognise the Corolla from Powercruise, I think out that way is where he comes from)

    It has traction....

    ....NOT!!!

And the one disappointment of the weekend was THE FRIDGE DOES NO SKIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It busted the left one as soon as he dumped the clutch for the burnout. Then single spun it half way down the strip and broke the right one for good measure.

and congrats to Phil for Top Toyota....well deserved. Just as a general vibe of nice car, tough performance and handy steering i figured it would be between Phil with the Rolla wagon and Andrew with the Poopra (which is farking nuts on the road i can confirm :nods

definitely many funnies...as my loss of voice early in the piece demonstrated

Ness and I are home safely,

Was an awesome weekend, thanks to Danae and David for all their work organising the event.

Got a few vids of the motorkhana of myself, my mum, and Ness, will upload some of them shortly.

Stoked to get fastest outright in the motorkhana, really enjoyed the khana, particularly the last course.

I have a video of an untimed run that i did after the end of the day on the 'Oh what a feeling' course.

The video doesn't have the whole run, misses a bit at the start, but the vid was 25s....it felt fast and clean, and (to me at least) it looks bloody good

    edit: video of untimed run

That was you driving the Boss. Sorta registered but brain not works good on long weekends.

Definitely an EPIC weekend and sucks to be you if it was skipped just because there was no car (especially if you find out what I was driving).
Vid of last's night's shenanigans should prove that...

Run home was even ok. Tried to get vid of guy with dinghy trailer that was so overloaded (2 trailbikes, tyres, bedding) that it was causing the drawbar to constantly flex. Didn't know whether to sit behind & get freaked out, or pass and disappear into the distance.

Would like to get hold of some of the khana vids (need to hear if the "wet fart" description of my exhaust note was correct for myself) & also the results

I think a few people have videos of you Ryan, not many involve the MR2 though. Sucks about your dog though.

PS: My run back was alright copped the brunt of the rain across the great western and usual traffic where the never ending roadworks are.

On behalf of Newcastle Sporting Car Club, thanks to all who participated in the motokhana and a big thanks to all the volunteers who helped out, it was greatly appreciated. I hope you guys enjoyed the tracks this year and the new "garage" system. We managed to cut down on near misses this year to under 10 :-)

P.s. Jabbatron could you please put up vids of my Black GT-P wallowing around the motorkhana on youtube when you get a chance. Also a dvd of my car and of the whole event, if you get time, p.m. me the cost of the dvds. BTW the vids at the drags are actually pretty good quality and good sound, you shouldn't be bagging it out, great work dude.

Off topic - Why does my post count always stay at 1? Am I ever going to get to have my car as my Avatar?.... I'm starting to think the mods don't want a picture of a 'coon in these forums :-p
