Drags with a car, one way or another wether its my wagon or my dads sedan, We will probably bring the UZS131 and Laura will drag that. Magna Jas is in the drags too.
As for Kana I will with the wagon but not dads sedan, laura won't compete and Jas is going for an outright win in the "aurion"

Dunno bout him, but with me driving a TD 4wd with a loaded car trailer, I kind of doubt it. I can try to surprise you though...
Kind of dubious as to what I'll be doing. Dina's not coming, but I'd like to still do the motorkhana because it's fun. Prob is the motorkhana car is currently at the shop getting braided lines redone, and I think 10 degrees of front toe in is not condusive to anything.
Is the deal with the motorkhana regarding fees & licence the same as last year?
If so, I want to see FWD Toyotas there doing it, because having a non Toyota being quickest is not the point of this weekend.
we are out .2 rooms out the front available.

I believe it's same deal as last year either get a L2S licence or join cams and Newcastle Supporting Car Club on the day, for only the day. Danae please confirm?
http://www.toyota-nationals.org.au/html/eventinfo.htm
$40 if you hold a L2NS or higher CAMs licence
$97 if you need to purchase a CAMs "DAY" licence
Are you after a licence just to compete at the motorkhana on the day or get a "Level 2 Speed" licence so you compete at different events for the year? You can obtain a one day L2S on the motorkhana day for $97 or buy a full year L2S licence for ~$103 and pay $40 to compete on the day. You will need to join an CAMS affliated car club to obtain this licence... Just so happens to be that Newcastle Sporting Car Club is such a club. Membership is $50 (probably cheapest around, with no member commitments). However feel free to join any other racing club... I will deduct 5 seconds from your car during the motorkhana if I see a competitor club sticker and deduct a beveridge from your fridge back at the matilda
So $97 - one day Cams licence and I beleive a one day NSCC membership, as you still need to a member of an affiliated club to obtain licence.
Or ~$193 - full year cams licence ($103), full year NSCC membership ($50), entry to motorkhana ($40)... plus a NSCC sitcker!!!! (dyno proven to add 15 rear wheel stickerwatts!!)
http://www.cams.com.au/Forms/Competi...nce_Forms.aspx
The licence application form is below:
http://www.cams.com.au/Forms/~/media...enewal5410.ash
I repeat you will need to join a CAMS affiliated club before sending of the application form, as it asks you for your club and member number.
I hope you ladies are prepared for the greatest motorkhana a stockyard has ever seen (Gengis Khana?). Satellite imagery and computer aided drafting were actually used this year in the design of these tracks to capitalise on extracting as much 'awesome' for the amount of space we were given... I have spent over $4k in the last month on the GT-P to get it ready for this so no excuses about minor bugbears for not attending, trailer your car or masking tape that intercooler hose back on if you have too. Also we need a lot of helpers for the motorkhana and drags, as we may be down on volunteers this year. Please see Danae Blundell, Dave McNeil or myself at the matilda if you'd like to offer a hand, it would be greatly appreciated. I.e. people to reset the markers, write down times etc...

No, we had a old basic one but it was really hard to find unless you knew the address (I've forgotten it, think it was taken down), it wouldn't come up in search's, so we are currently in the process of making a new proper website and we have bought a few Google word searches so we come up top in the search list. We are on facebook however, search "Newcastle Sporting Car Club" if you want to check us or some of our member cars out.. If you are looking to join before easter please ring our President, Dave McNeil 0418680898, this guy would be more than happy to talk to you. Or you can join up on the weekend.
Club meets at Cardiff RSL first Wednesday of every month (except January) at 8.00pm, more than welcome to come a few times without the obligation to join.
