don't forget the ignitor, although they are made to high pressure washed so you wouldn't think that would mess up
Hey everyone im wanting to get some advice from people with what to do with my car. It was at a shop before christmas for a dyno run n tune and they didnt get a chance to do it then the flood happened and my car was fully submerged. It used to run ok before it was alittle ruff. Since its been wet they cleaned microtech and apexi rsm with and they work, but when we put it on the dyno it misfires at 4,500rpm so im thinking that its either going to be Coils, Leads or CAS. Is there anything else i should look at before i spend money replacing these things.
Thanks

cant they put a scope on the car to see where it breaks down?.. youd think so if they have a dyno?
The shop that it was at has only had time to fix the dyno nothing else so yer they were guessing what's wrong with it! Would like to know somewhere close to Ipswich that i can take it?
Ask Millsi, he might know of a few places out that way.
There's also TerryO's Road and Track workshop.
How high did the water get into the car? And have you (partially?) pulled the motor down to clean parts like plugs, leads, coils, wiring-in-general, alt, etc. ?
The car was fully under after it had all oils dropped and filled with diesel, Microtech and apex were washed off and pulled apart cleaned with contact cleaner (I think) they both work. The fuel pump shit itself but lifter pump didnt.
It starts and drives fine until 4500rpm then it misfires
It's got new plugs and oil
Clutch seized to flywheel so ive dropped gearbox and cleaned that up filled with oil
Opened diff cleaned out and re filled
Bride was out first and soaked and cleaned
I have borrowed a cas from a mate and will either install tonight or tomorrow afternoon
I dont know if my car has an ignitor as it runs 4agze twin coil packs i think they are just connected to my microtech???
Im still learning this car as ive owned it a few months.
