2jzge into ma70 wiring help please

Hi,

I am putting a 2jzge into my ma70, I have the engine in, and all mounted up,

I am just wanting advice on which way to tackle the wiring side of things, I take it I plug the 2jzge ecu into it's harness, then is it a matter of mating the extra plugs that don't go into the ecu ( which I take it are for gauges, sensors,auto etc, etc) with the harness in the car were the 7m plugs that didn't go into the 7m ecu, and then powering up the 2jzge ecu?, as I have removed the old 7m engine harness and ecu when I took the engine out,

The best way to do it, is to grab the old 7M harness, and work out exactly what each pin on each interface plug does.
There are a few near the ECU (3 I think? maybe 4) and one near the battery.

Once you work that out, you just need to do the same with the 2JZGE harness.

Once you have both of those, the wiring is a very simple task.

You may even be able to use the online TSRM to help with the 7M stuff, and you may find someone else who has already done it for the 2JZ.

yeah I thought it would be a matter of mating the 3-4 plugs near the ecu on each harness,I take it I will still need to power up the ecu?

Is the 2JZ out of a JZA80 Supra? If so, I've posted the plug pin-outs for the body harness connectors in the wiring diagram thread.
