    Post ra23/28 adjustable coilovers

    howdy guys and gals

just wondering if anyone has attempted a adjustable coilover front suspension setup in their ra23 or ra28??? Its something that has been on my mind for
a while coz i reckon it would be a handy modification. I haven't been able to find anyone who actually makes bolt in parts to fit, but i have been thinking

about making up some threaded sleeves and nuts at work and doing my own conversion (it would be cheap as buggery too ) Has anyone got any

thoughts for/against??? and anyone done this already??? And am i being naive in thinking it would be easy???
    3 x RA23's + 2 x RA28's = No Backyard!!

    18r-g + straight lpg + t25 turbo + 14 psi = FUN!

have a look on the importbitz website, he sells coilover threaded sleeves and nuts etc....not that dear either.

something to keep in mind though...if your going to all that effort, you should do it on the corona struts incase you want to upgrade brakes later on. it would be a shame to throw away a converted strut if you decide to upgrade brakes later on .

Somthing I'm looking into as well, concidering they use S13 Coilovers on Sprinters, how well would they work on the RA28's? more in relation to the LCA issues.

Imoportbitz sell the 'koni' sleeve kits, as do other places. Noltec sell very similar kits as well - posibly made by the same place, but the alum is anodised blue rather than red.I believe MWP made coilovers from the struts in his xA2x using the Noltec kit.

Not the best pic, but this shows the 'koni' kit with T3 upper rollerbearing hats and cambertops.

Timottoways' setup (xA6x) using the same sleeve kit:
