afaik, Vic club rego is totally different to NSW Historic rego.
perhaps ask in the "changes to Vic rego" thread in this section?
Hey guys.
Next year my gt-four st165 becomes eligible for club rego to start some non serious fun track work!! very pumped.
I am currently building up the car and i am wondering what to do in terms of my intercooler and my exhaust set up.
I realise this may vary from club to club but im talking in general, if these modifications should be made before i go for club rego or if i do them afterwards?
Intercooler wise.. I'm changing from a stock top mount WTA to a FMIC in general is this fine for club rego?
also upgrading my dump pipe from the big heavy restricting toyota pipe to a 3 inch dump. but doing this im effectively removing the cat. But would this pass club rego?
these are both modifications that i would really like to make, so if any club allows this then im in lol
Thanks guys

The only issue i think you would have is no CAT, which is also an EPA issue too, so i would just get a dump made up with a CAT, saves any dramas plus a lot cheaper too as i beleive EPA Fines for no CAT's are extrememly Expensive ..
I have some good news and some bad news.
Good news - First off a FMIC and an exhaust modification would be fine for club rego here in Victoria, with our club any way.
Bad news - Taking the cat convertor out would not be a good thing and would be something that I think our club inspectors would like to see remain. As mentioned above, the EPA fine will hurt like a mofo too.
