    if that helps.

It's on all my posts, just figured it was a truncate own posts functionality or something.

edit: what the heck, it's gone already. quick-fix or phantom functionality?

edit2: it's still there in the wmmh thread, but no longer here in this thread.. I'll submit this and see if it pops back up due to me editing the post.

edit3: nope, gone from this thread completely.

I've got that happening to your posts in the WMMH thread too. No one else's are doing it though.

Correct Hence my test above. Issue seems to occur in Firefox and Google Chrome, but not in IE.

Appears to be a bug in vb. (or the result of removing the gap between the signature and the bottom of the post.)

    Hello

Is it possible to go back to the older "emoticon" thingos? I hope this is not too weird a request. Maybe it's my resolution (1280x1024 on a 15" CRT), but they are kind of hard to distinguish.

    Cheers,
    Brendon

Avatars and user names now at the top of posts instead of along the side? Is there a way to change it back to being on the side?

Brendon, I belive the emoticons will go back to how they were (or at least to a different state than current) once the skin gets re-applied.

Personally I like the avatar etc at the top of the post, makes it better for large photos (and as a picture says a thousand words, extra resolution can make a conversion a lot easier)

    Hey all
Is anyone using firefox to browse toymods?

the autocomplete for nicknames doesnt seem to work for me?

Also, the popup when you hover over a persons name pops up but they disappear really quickly which means you cant click on anything on it.

    im using 3.6.15 atm,

Just wondering if this is a me issue or firefox issue?

    Thanks
    Rudi

    ----------------edit----------------
Apparently there is 4.0 now so i'll give that a shot and report back.

doh! no change. however i have found that if i move the mouse really quick i am able to fluke the popup menu thing. still no joy with the autocomplete thingee.

I had the same problem with firefox Rudi, but it was when hovering over a thread to get a preview of it. I'd read the intro in four or five quick bursts haha. It's miraculously fixed itself in the past week however, so if this was the work of one of the guys behind the scenes, cheers!

Or you mean when you're over their name and its says "view profile, send message, etc?"

LOL. Thread previews seem to work fine for me.

Yeah, it is when you're over their name and it gives you those options, unless your really quick the popup thing disappears before you can click anything.

the other issue is when sending a new message or searching by author, the autocomplete doesnt seem to work anymore. (It seems to works fine in IE, just wondering if i need some special addons for it to work with firefox)

Also another issue since has been raised elsewhere and I have also noted.
The search function seems to miss a huge chunk of results, its like posts from between somewhere around end of 2007 and mid 2010 haven't been archived/indexed or something. (Note these dates are just guesstimates from searching posts made by me)

I do appreciate all the work that has gone into the forum upgrade so please don't take this as criticism!

    Thanks
    Rudi
