    Default mx83 turbo timer install

    hey guys,

I bought a gizzmo ms-2 boost controller and it has a built in turbo timer. Now im trying to hooking it up to my mx83 ignition barrel but now im stuck. Ive searched on the forums and found the below guide but for some reason on my mx83 there is like 2 wires which all have
power with ignition on whilst in the ON position . So now im lost. The gizzmo instructions has a red wire which is constant power..ground was fine but now i have two ignition wires for the turbo timer. Which one goes where?

Ignition 1 - This ignition supply must stay on when on the on position

Ignition 2 - it says nothing

I attached the gizzmo instruction manual.

I would appreciate it if someone could give me a hand

    thanks

I found this on the forum but im still confused

    OK, on your timer.

    Red - 12v constant power

    Black - Ground

Ignition 1 (Primary). This senses the ignition being turned off. Connect to the ignition barrel wire that has power with ignition on and whilst cranking only!

Ignition 2 (Secondry, sometimes needed for thermo fan etc). This is hooked to your second ignition wire, the one that has power on but not whilst cranking. Some cars don't have an IGN 2, so hook it to your accessory or nothing at all.

it says in the explanation and the little diagram?

assuming you have a test light or multi meter (test light is fine, i dont own a multimeter). pull shit out to expose the back of your ignition barrel. to find which is the starter wire crank engine the starter wire will only have power when the starter is cranking. you can also trace the wire by looking at the wire to the solenoid on the starter and matching that to the same coloured wire into the barrel.

again it is the same with the ignition 2, use your tester to see which has power only when engine is running.

i have not installed a timer on any car but thats the assumption i make from what i see on what you wrote and the diagram. not sure if thats any help at all..
