    hi Guys,

Ive been approached by Steve from racing ready about joining them for a skid pan day. Between both of us we should be able to get the desired numbers.

I must appologies as i have dropped the ball with this while i sort my car out, busy with work and uni is back in full swing.

here is some info from Steve:

My name is Steve Farmer and I run a Canberra based site called RacingReady.com.au, I am actually booking a skidpan day myself for the 30th April with Fifth Gear already, so far I have 6 people and plenty of EOI's. If you are interested we could look at combining if you are struggling to get the numbers to justify it?

Well if you like you can either re-direct everyone to:

    http://www.racingready.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=157

Or just throw those same details up yourself in your Toymods thread and keep me up to speed, I was going to run it at 13 people @ $100 per head, and if there is heaps of interest look into booking morning as well. I'm sort of putting it on as a bit of a promo event too so you'll see i'm going to pay someones entry at random too.

Anyone interested in jumping in on this?

jezz let me know if this is in breach of any rules etc

    cheers

    rules what rules?

sounds like a good idea though to jump in with Steve also there is the chance to win your entry fee back with the RacingReady competition.

More details on the Racing Ready site.

    Cheers

    Steve,

have you spoken with 5th gear about taking a whole day?

we have over 6 people definately interested between toymods and supra forums. this would push numbers to 20+ and at least 4 weeks to find a couple last minute stragglers...

    let me know ASAP

    thanks

This is sounding a bit unclear now...... Who exactly is booking this day? No longer a Toymods event? Who definatly has a spot going off the list posted by Nate above? Thanks.....

I did a skidpan session last weekend (morning session). We had 10 people. In that session, everyone got 5 goes at the track...... 10 is a good number of people. Any more than 10 is not worth the money for minimal time on track. Any less than 10, costs too much....

Looking at the Racing ready site, 13 people for one session is too many people...

If more people are confirmed coming, the WHOLE day (morning and arvo sessions) will need to be booked. Maybe split into 2 sessions, a Racing Ready session and a Toymods/AE86DC/Rollaclub/Supra club session. If the details for the day are clear, I can proberly get the numbers required, but it's hard when we dont even know if this is happening or not and being able to see a definate updated list of CONFIRMED attendees.....

Not having a go at anyone, but it's sounding more complicated than it should be.....

    Guys I totally agree.

I'll ring.Steve when I get into the office. I think a full day with 20 people and a bbq'd in the middle would be best.

This just needs to be confirmed via Steve and 5th gear.

If not we might go back to the original plan.

Ok guys here is the deal.

Steve, Dereck and I will be talking at the shannons car show this weekend for final clarification. However, at this staget the 30th is still to go ahead.

What is most likely going to occur is the following:

Morning session (10 people) will be for the toyota clans.
BBQ lunch - we need to supply food and drinks for this (need ideas how to sort this and who can cook...Jezz haha)
afternoon session (13 people) racingready crew.

this way over flow of one can fill spots for the other and we can mix it up a little with new faces!

    Nathan that sounds brilliant.

Would it be possible for the CCG to cater the BBQ and Drinks?
