Adaptronic E1280s would be a good choice in my eyes, with VE tuning and wideband they set themselves up really well, unless you have bike throttles![]()
Hey All,
Sourcing a 3UZ and looking at what i need in a ECU to run this engine to its potential, Ive been looking at the link xtrime but dont know if it has the right inputs outputs drivers or whatever to run the vvti.
any one who has any suggestions on ecu selection and what to look for please let me know.

im looking at getting an itb setup soon enough too if that changes anything.
Nah just more fiddly to tune and autotune doesn't work properly.
so any one else know if this ecu offers the ability to run the 3uz's vvti
The link G4 has native support for the vvti UZ setup. no need to modify any of the factory triggers etc like some other ECU's. They're pretty good with all the newer toyota vvti setups, 2gr, ZZ, 3UR etc.
