Cresta GX81 Front Passenger Windows vs MX83

I've had someone smash both the plastic windguard and front passenger window on my Cresta.
Now I'm just wondering whether anyone has any definitive measurements/comparisons as to whether I can pick up a new window from the wreckers or if the glass is different sized/shaped?

good day...

a friend had his passenger front window smashed...

he fitted a cressida one but they didnt curve as much and was a touch too short...

i cant remember what he did, or if he just left the cressida one in...

custome made windows are expensive as well

I think if you need to go custom, you may as well ring Toyota. You never know.

Cresta X8 have pillars on the doors dont they ??? nothing like Chaser/Mark II pillarless.... ???

you might be in for a chance, if anything MX83 Series 2 might fit ?

Yeah, they're pillared, but I'm pretty sure the windows are a different shape. I'm going to find a grandpa spec cressida up at the shopping centre, park next to it and do some quick measurements.

series 1 and 2 door glass are the same i have some mx83 series 2 tinted glass here and a gx81 cresta rear window if u need em

If you have both a MX83 and the GX81, is it a cresta or hard top?
Are you able to compare the glass for me? If it's the same for the front passenger, then it'd be awesome.

mine is a GX81 Mk2 man so its the hard top version but if u can mesure the passenger window then i can see if its the same

Alright, I've got more problems with windows...
Looking at ToyoDIY, trying to work out whether the glass matches up to Cressida glass. These are the part numbers it throws up for a Cresta, a Chaser and a AUDM cressida

can anyone shed any light on the matter? Or should I go to the Toyota dealer?
