The whole rear panel (metal bit) is different.
You can either butcher the ADM rear panel to fit the JDM lights, or you can cut the rear panel out of a JDM XX and weld it into the ADM Supra. Triptek has done this a couple of times.
Also with the ADM Supra, the bumper stops about 1" below the lights, and there is a filler metal panel between the lights and the bumper (not sure if this is bolted on or spot welded on).
With the JDM XX the bumper extends up and meets the bottom of the lights.

Hey guys
Yeah CrUZida is right, i have just completed this conversion and is was a bit of a pain as the rear skin on the aus delivered is completely different. I had replaced the rear bar with the jap and the got rid of the filler pannel which is spot welded onto the car. It can be done, but to do it properly i recomend replacing the rear panel.![]()
Interesting
Yes, you need to swap the rear beaver panel. Not a easy conversion. If your good with a welder it can be done in 3-4 hours if you have the XX beaver panel.
