sorry to post this here, i know there have been countless questions asked about catch can operation, but none that i have found that confirm what i need to know.
i have a catch can connected up on my 18RG, one vent to the cam cover and one to the one on the crankcase(under the intake side) it vents to atmosphere.
now when i rev the car with n load, and the filter off the catch can so i can see inside, i can see slight puffs of white "mist" comming out the vents, know i know a little bit of blowby is normal, the catch can is NOWHERE near full, with only a few drops in the bottom of it.
i have a habit of being paranoid whn it comes to my own cars, is this the case, i will do a cylinder leakage test on monday when i go to work, but i dont want to wait.
if this was someone else car i wouldve put it as being normal, but is it??? :S
