I'd be interested as long as it's not the labour day long weekend in march.
TCCA are looking at planning a weekend cruise to Echuca some time in March /April
this cruise would involve around 3.5 hours of driving each day
Caravan Park (cabin) accomodation in or close to Echuca
accomodation committment would have to be pre paid and a non refundable fee
if there is any interest please leave your feedback
or PM me for more info
this invitation is being offered on the Rolla club site as well
you could have a club cabin if desired

rates too high on long weekends
that is why it will be on a normal 2 day weekend
leaving melb the friday night or sat morning ?

Planning BP Calder Park as a meeting point around 10-00 am
head off about 11-00 am
lunch in Castlemaine
then continue to Echuca arriving between 4 and 5 in the afternoon
on Sunday spend some time looking around Echuca then about 12-30 1-00 hopefully an organised cruise back to Melbourne via Shepparton and Heathcote
around 3 to 4 hours driving each day
hope this clarifies for all

Is that the scenic route?? Wouldn't it be quicker going through Shepparton because most of you boy live in the eastern suburbs. Come home which ever way you like, there is lots of winerys on the way home especially around Heathcote and Bendigo..

You beat me to it, I had just started planning a weekend cruise to Lake Hume (Albury) to meet with Toymods Car Club and Canberra Celica Club. Was going to plan it for around the same time, but was just waiting until Monday to hear back about a new job interstate. I'll make it for another timeframe.
if you can arrive in echuca on the saturday
i can arrange a group crawlover on the brand new TA 23 at the toyota dealership

I heard about that Ian
that is what got me thinking about this cruise
CAMS is still talking of their CARnival in May too... bit later in the year than this suggestion, and no doubt accommodation prices would be jacked up too.
It would be a 2.5 hour drive for us, a 5 hour drive for Canberra Celica Group, and a 7 hour drive for Toymods Car Club, so it may be a lot harder to convince them.
