Need help identifying few 1jz wires/plugs/lines

Hi guys,

I got a 1jz-gte here from a JZZ30, I need some information on a few wires, plugs and lines, what they are for etc.

1.

Ground wire on back of head, where does it connect to?



2.


Plug with single thick black wire near starter motor area :



3.

2 Vac lines one near Diag box and one to the right of the dipstick



4.

Wiring harness plugs cut off where circled green :



Here are the wire colours :

- White

- Thick White

- Black/Red Thickest
- Black/Red slightly Thinner than Thickest
- Black/Red Thin
- Black Red Thinnest

- Brown
- Thick Black
- Thin Black
- Black/Orange
- Black/Yellow
- Blue/Red
- Blue

5. 2 wires near alternator area branching out of main loom, Green/Black and Green/Red



6. 2 Plugs near auto transmission, Grey and Black Plugs



Grey Plug : Blue/Red, Red and Yellow Wire

Black Plug : Purple and Pink wires



7. Plug branching from main ECU Loom out near where it joins the firewall :





Also there is 2 large charging wires coming from the alternator that have been snapped/cut, should I just attach both of them to the positive battery cable or is one supposed to go elsewhere?

1. That is just a ground wire. It connects to the firewall usually.

2. Starter solenoid trigger.

3. The one near the diagnostic is for the evap system. Dunno about the other one, probably went to the heater tap or somin.

4. Fuse box wiring ie: EFI main relay, starter relay, air con.

5. Z30 pps solinoid.

6. grey is for electric dash speedo. Black is SP +/- for ecu.

7. Dunno for sure, could be the heater tap vsv.

Thanks guys for the input that sent me in the correct direction, I don't know how I missed the sense wire for the starter motor, you can see in the picture where it connects to i'm pretty sure haha.

At the moment I just need to find out the Chopped off Wiring harness I think there are 2 plugs off it, then I'll figure out the transmission ones.

Also agree Triptek got it all, unsure of those two wires near the alternator though one is to battery, other could be a ground wire???

7) Is the heater tap VSV. Two plugs near when loom goes into firewall one is for VSV the other is for MAP.

Also I can see the auto box is missing the two speed sensors....obviously why you couldn't find where plugs go.

I figured out most of the wiring around on the chopped off harness :

Blue - +12v to A/C clutch
Thick white - White on alternator plug
Thickest black red - +B on Diag Connector
Brown - A/C Lockup sensor
Black/Yellow - to ECU "batt"
2 x black/red same thickness - ECU +B and +B1 Power on Ignition
Thick Black - Starter Motor Solenoid Power
Black/Orange - ecu "MREL"
Thin white - "ACMG"
Thinnest Black/Red - Diag Conn "WB" for ABS I think

Does anybody know what

Blue/Red and Thin black are for?
