Go to Jaycar.
They sell a single H1 HID kit for $69.95
Seems to be the cheapest way to buy a globe

...... butt scratcher?!
I bought D2R 6000k's of ebay bout a year ago to replace the compliance setup that was fitted to my car, they are still going strong.
My car was factory HID, and the workshop just fitted some H1 with an adaptor to get it through complience. you can see in the pics where they cut the factory wiringthankfully they tucked the D2R factory plugs inside the headlight assembly!
Took me a bit of messing about to get it back to factory, but its been working fine for over 12months now.
here are some random pics that might help, or could be a total waste of time. But there is some reference either way.

hehe, i've learned a bit too, Ebay is the way to go for these..
Waiting for my two new 'authentic OEM' Philips D2R lamps 4300K fresh in boxes, for under $50 each delivered, compared to 250 each, wow.
Was thinking of going 6000k that would be cool, and can probably afford to try all sorts of different lamps at 50 bones. Im a bit annoyed i didnt get the exact number off my current lamp thats gone while i had it apart, so thought id get 2 new 4300k's just to keep her factory for now(mission:no.defects.fuk.that)
How bright is 6000k lamp haha? All white light and not blue-ish at all? My current setup is just slightly bluey but mainly white, im just guessing mine is 4300 now? :S haha
I am slightly lucky mine has the original HID setup still in itthe are so much better than normal lights and suit cars like this a lot, but its a big plus on the costs, especially if your ballast goes! ridiculous for new here in Aus, maybe NZ wreckers maybe have them heheh bit sneaky..
