    Default Ga70 - jza70

    Hello all you Tech gurus.

My brother currently owns a GA70 supra and has a JZA70 motor and gearbox coming from japan that on the invoice, says it was removed from a JZA80.

He has asked me to find out if there are any pointers he needs to know, or to let the mechanic know that will be doing the conversion.

Or if there are any alternate things he needs to address like bigger brakes, etc.

Thanks for your help guys, and if this has been posted before, just direct me to it, and ill read on.

yup youll need to know what it is exactly.. motor will bolt up the same but the gearbox will be different, 6 speed wont really fit unless tunnell bashed, and 5 speed didnt come with a twin turbo engine in the jza80..

maybe they made a mistake on the invoice?... how much did you pay?
