While I'm at it I might as well build a 7agze ... My plans for the wagon have now changed - not a mistake but...

I keep consolling myself as I buy more tools & car parts that I'll at least have something to re-sell when the project's done..

Bought the forged 7a rods now... Anyone know of a 7afe in Melbourne area?

    Things i have learnt are.

*buy a daily, I went with out a car in a town with no public transport for well over 2 years, it was hell, but I did get fit.

*Buy or borrow the right tools, don't just struggle through it with out the right equipment and it can all be claimed on tax.

*Ask Questions, most people are always willing to help, just make sure you ask the right people or confirm information.

    * Take time to think about what your doing in the work shop

not specific to 4AG conversions but in general... in addition to all of the above... dont just try to get the 1 part out that you are trying to remove... if there are other parts in the way unbolt them and you will usually find its much easier to remove the 5 parts infront than to try and get to that 1 hard to reach bolt to remove the part you are after...
