    Default low springs?

Hi! I was just thinking...I'm thinking of putting on springs for my ST184...but I don't really know how low I can go? and I don't just want to dump it stupidly...

But I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea if super lows fit on the ST184 Celicas? Like...currently, it doesn't seem that I have much space between the wheel and the arch...so I don't see how they would fit...also, how would that affect my suspension and drivability and stuff? Like, if I'm not planning to replace the shocks and what not?

Hope you guys can help...thanks! =)

you will definetly notice a difference in driving.

you will have to watch out for - potholes, spoon drains, dips, gutters, driveways, speedhumps, debris......and anything else that isnt flat and black.

it will be a bit stiffer ride in the car and may become annoying.

you may notice its a bit bouncy if you retain the standard shocks, kinda like it floats like a boat a bit. you may start to bust up suspension bushes and the like with the extra bumps and stuff.

usually low springs are still not low enough for some people and they cut them. i cut all 4 springs in my daily and havent really had to many problems. i do want it a bit lower tho....its kinda trial and error

Ha ha ha..yeah...fair enuf...sounds about right...so super lows won't mess with the wheel clearance or anything still right? umm...also keep in mind that I'm not doing anything too crazy...=) Just daily driving and what not....just obviously think the car look better a bit lower...

But yeah...umm...so are there any actual issues with keeping the stock shocks with the super lows? Or would they last alright...? Thanks!

Cutting springs is BAD mkaay? If you're going to do the springs, get shocks to suit. Remember, this is what's keeping your wheels on the road. Better to spend a bit now, and enjoy it forever, than hit a surface change a little faster than you thought and bounce off the road because your shocks are shagged.
