Part no. of a GZE piston

Does anyone know the part no of the High comp ( 8.9:1 Ae92) pistons with the ceramic coated crowns??

I have been through the old threads and all i have found is this Part no. 13103-16131, 0.50mm oversize.

But it doesnt say what type of piston it is.( high comp / low comp)

Im after the STD piston dia ( not oversize) part no.

There's actually quite a few of them depending on the numbers stamped into your rods... there are 3 different "Mark" versions available. They seem to be defined by the year the engine was built. That one above is a AE92 GZE std piston from 8708-8802.

The marks 1,2,3 are individual cylinder marks that can be found on the block if I am not mistaken. You need to match each number on the block to the piston. I am not at the home office until later on so if you have not received the correct part number when I return tonight I will post it for you.
Not sure if I told you before, but your numbers are super impressive using stock internals. Is there an issue with stock bolts as I know you have arped everything.

The std piston list is marking 2

aw11 is 13101-16100-02
88/02-89/05 AE92 is 1310116100-02
91/01-91/04 ae92 is 1310116131-02
91/06-95/05 ae101 is 1310116131-02

These are all the std piston part numbers

I can get ring part numbers as well if u like

Correct me if i am wrong but those marks you are talking about on the bottom of the block are for matching the correct bearing shells to the crank?

Like i said before it is stock but the internals have been modified extensivley to cope with this sort of power.
Yeah the bolts are crap at this sort of level!
I have streched the std head bolts and lifted the head off the block!! and i never trusted the others.

What do you mean by the std piston list is marking 02 ? I take it that this means the part no. with 02 on the end of em indicates that they are of std size?

That list is about 3 pages long... you should try and get the same pistons as the ones you have now. Do yours have a number stamped into the top of the piston?

EDIT: These were my pistons.... you can sorta see the number 1 stamped into them. They were Std Mark 1 pistons. My block was originally a smallport 4age so the numbers were irrelevant to me. After these i went 0.5 OS. I dont think it matters much provided you balance the internals properly during the build.

Yeah i want to find a new set of these pistons. i have 2 sets of em now . Most have 2 CD stamped on top one has 1 AB.


Although the part no.s are there it is still hard to tell exactly what this is.


Does that have the ceramic coated crowns? it looks diff to the brown ceramic on mine

I just checked a pic from when i built the engine and they are all 2 CD excepy one is 3CD

I take it it would be best to get the later mark 3 pistons 13101-16-30-01 ?????????

I've bought gze pistons a couple times... the 1st batch cost me $562.xx with rings.

The 2nd time they knew me since i ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and gave me a trade price of $476.00 with rings.

Note this includes the discount from Penrith Toyota for club members. How much do they normally go for in Japan?

it's deffinatly from a later engine/block having the oil squirter cut out on it.

(but then you already knew that being a 8.9:1 c/r piston, useless info part # 6453455-0110).

dont buy them stew, you want higher comp than that.

and 30psi ring james at castlehill toyota {spareparts} and tell him you want a set of std bore ae101 gze pistons! wont be a problem! lol your about 4 months to late, i gave a mate a new set of std i had sitting here for years.
