nostalgia is not what it used to be:

I read the "end of year get together suggestion" and it was by "Ian" and thought why not at his place and don't tell the wife and even Ian suggested a BBQ at his place.
Stop joking Ross, some where centrel to everyone.
Roscos![]()
the only problem is finding a suitable venue that can cater for anywhere between
5 and 50 people this late in the year , cos you have to book with a definite number , as with any social event we cant confirm the numbers until they turn up ,
so we need a place that people can come and go when they please ,as many of us no doubt will end up with other commitments as well , family function /work function etc
thats why i suggested a BBQ at my place
we can park at least 50 cars off street..and if anyone over refreshes , there is plenty of room to stay untill they remember where they are
also we have to agree on a date thats most suitable
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Ian where do you live mate, mars![]()
hi grega
to some of our members mars might be closer , i live in eltham
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
OK i can see how those way out east might have issues with that - eltham is just up the ring road from me (am in hoppers crossing)
There is a good BBQ area at Albert Park with BBQ's etc and plenty of parking spaces... I am thinking of using it as a venue for a TCCA summer BBQ in Jan...
Hi there.
I would love to come and meet the other member and talk sh1t about Toyotas.
Have you through about Docklands, at the end of North Warlf Rd. There's free BBQ's, toilets and heaps of parking. Also a excelent place of photos.
Here's a map for those who are unsure of the location.
BTW this is a private road with public entry so if the cops come and try to give you a hard time they are unable to issue little yellow stickers

will try my best to make it depending on other silly season committments.
ians place would be a good bet, probably a bit more relaxed than out in public and would allow for more drinking lol
There is no substitute for PUBIC inches
Never late in an x8
I like the Docklands venue myself... but I reckon if its happening we better lock in a date... time is nearly up!
TCCA will be having their annual presentation night on the 14th at our new venue - Emerald Hotel South Melbourne.
The Saturday 18th is planned to be a christmas bbq at Frank's place, unless it changes again tonight at the Committee Meeting
How about a picnic at Anakie Gorge Brisbane Ranges , its not to far and a great place.
