    Default E-Series box info?

Couple of questions on the e series box.
Particularly e153 which is used in SW20 turbo and V6 Camrys
I need to source one of these and basically I am unsure of the real differences between the two boxes.
Obviously the shift mechanism is on the opposite side for the MR2 version but any other physical differences.

Does anyone know what V6 engined Camrys these came in? MZ or VZ?
    Year? Model No.?
Is the V6 bolt pattern for these engines the same as the 3SGTE?
i.e. do they mate up? Bigger/smaller?
Are there any other external differences?
Are there any external dimension differences from the e51/e58's used with 4A's?

SW20T one would be more suitable for my purpose as it's for MR layout.

I'm more concerned about size of the bolt pattern and any other differences.
Particularly offset distance from output shaft to drive shafts.
But logic tells me this would be the same distance for all E boxes including the e51/e58's

Any help would be awesome as I'm getting serious about rounding up parts for this project but this has had me confused for a while.

    there's a heap of info at roadandtrack.net.au.

they have an article on the E series box.

i don't think there any diff with the mounting points as there's plenty of people that have fitted V6 boxes to 3sgte's in their FWD celica's

but it'll be much easier and better to just source an mr2 box, try for a 93on with LSD, tho you'll need the specific driveshafts to come with it.

Going rate for an SW20T LSD box with no shafts is $1100 from a few places I've called.
Considering you can get a full 1/2 cut for $2000 seems like a better option and just onsell the 3SGTE.
Could probably get a camry one with shafts for 1/2 that but add LSD and custom shift cables and it's well over $1100.

the half cut's with the better syncro gearbox's and LSD will be more like 3k+. tho some cheap ones do come up.
