I'll have pics of the setup on the car by Mon so you will be able to see how much room this setup leaves you with.

Price is around the $500 mark....really depends how many get made at once as i can bulk order bits. Internally gated manifolds would be the cheaper of the 2 obviously.

I have already sold all of the 1st lot of flanges that were made.

did you get the pics yet?

Nah sorry, weather was hell last week so didn't get anything done on the car. Tomorrow is looking OK so touch wood will have pics of the dummied setup for posting Monday.

Nah, just a 0.84 a/r .....yeah well OK it is a little large Keen to see the power curve and if we can't get something nice and linear then look into swapping on a 0.67. All easily interchangeable so no biggie.

Is that 18RG using the stock EFI computer? It looks like the stock manifold but the stock injectors too?
I'm just weighing up if turbo'ing a 18RG with the stock efi manifold but Link Engine Management will be value for money.

Nope, runs a Haltech. Injectors are from a 3TGT apparently but will most likely need upgrading regardless.

Which Haltech? Is it running fuel & ignition or fuel only?

    Mate you know this one

It's an E6S with both fuel and ignition and before you ask the next question that you already know the answer to it's a Magna Dissy with a Hall Effect sensor i believe

Fuel is fully sequential so hpefully with the big injectors we'll end up using economy should still be pretty good.

Justen - what injectors are you eventually looking at? I've got my eyes on a set of Sard 700~800cc top feeders.

Ace, it's worthwhile turboing the 18RG, definitely. Just make sure you have decent engine management

OK so I have a hard time keeping up with what you've got in your various toys. It does ring a bell though, I've probably asked several times.

I asked because I was wondering if you've had any problems getting a clean CAS signal to the Haltech? I've heard from others that if you have high-tension leads anywhere near the CAS circuit (which is unavoidable if you have a dizzy-mounted CAS) it's common for the ECU to get confused and read the ignition signal incorrectly. This is certainly the case with my setup, the Haltech logs show random 16,000rpm spikes which obviously doesn't help for smooth running!

Witzl - I think that Mazda 550's will do initially to produce in the region of 250rwkw @ approx 90% duty. I reckon that'll be way more than enough but should Zane want more then yup, something bigger will be required...but forgies etc will be needed as well so we are talking a major rebuild i suspect.

Norbie - Dunno mate. This setup has run fine in the past so have to suck it and see. Might be able to run some form of suppression?

Haha so you're saying the Link isn't decent? I figured that because I never hear about it on these forums. Gotta research more though.
