are you bolting to the steering arm or the lower control arm?
do you have the three bolt or two bolt steering arm in your KE20??

Do ta22 struts bolt into a ke25 lca or at all?

bolt onto? what do you mean at all?

no.... they don't bolt in. for a number of reasons

i was hoping he would clarify the question. (which i imagine is the reason no-one has answered so far, as well as the information being available.. and no, i didn't neg rep. he's still above 10 )

do they bolt to KE2X steering arms is different to can i use TA22 steerign arms onthe KE2X ball joint.

obviously, you don't understand precision in questiosn gets precise answers

and searching for yourself goes a loooong way.

so you answered without clarification anyway ! hmmm welldone
i would have thought somebody with so much knowledge about these things wouldn't mind passing on a bit of that knowledge to people who do not know stuff like this , isn't that what this forum is partly for anyway ?

    i answer questions.

not a random assortment of jumbled words.

this is a technical forum, where technical questions receive technical answers.

    to be more specific, afaik,
the strut top doesn't bolt in.
the spring is too big to fit.
the TA22 strut doesn't bolt to the KE2X steering arm, and DEFINITELY DOESN'T fit to the 3 bolt KE20 arm
(which he has still not said if he has or not)

as for the ball joint, if KE2X use BJ145 then the 22 arm will fit, BUT the tie rod end will probably not. check the link to the ball joint catalogue i posted earlier.

now go back into your hole because ALL this information is relatively easy to find in many plces on the net, not least of all the old and new toymods forums.

i have no idea why you are getting on your high horse about it anyway?

the REASON i did not post the above before is because it is "As Far As I Know". i DO NOT know for sure, and i hate to post half truths and mislead people..

get off your lazy arse and search, and report back with what you find.
as posted elsewhere... put up or shut up.

LOL thats the way fire up oldy !!!
fair enough , if i had unlimited internet access i would do all the searching i could
i just don't understand why you it hard to share the knowledge you have without the BS
i'm sure you asked some simple questions when you first started playing with toyota's .
and fair enough again the repatition of questions may be annoying but would it not be better ( maybe not for you ) to encourage people who don't know( like myself) than to discourage them , anyways i think we've hijacked this thread for long enough

I had these in my ke20, but this was only through a dodgy brothers effort in cutting my LCA off half way and swapping to ta22, or at least thats how it seems they did it. This is however illegal, so i don't advise it.

For what reason do you want to swap the struts entirely? If you want a cheap brake upgrade, you could do the ke70 one, which has been detailed a few times, and is currently in discussion in the KE dedicated chat thread. You could sell your ta22 struts to fund this quite easily, considering you have them already and if money is an issue. The ta22 and ke70 discs are very similar sizes anyway as far as i know (too lazy to look up DBA catalogue currently, you can do this yourself )

    i didn't reply because I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE.
