Supra seats into Cruiser

Ok, this might be a weird question.. but I'm just that kinda person!
Friend wants to put a set of commodore seats into 75 series cruiser (apparently they bolt in.. who woulda thunk it!) but being me, I suggested a nice set of 8 way adjustable Supra seats.. that got him thinkin.. and me too for that matter. Do Supra seats fit into a 75 series, if not what kinda work needs to be done. And if so where can I get my hands on a set and for how much?

NFI if they'd it but I'd be surprised if they do.
There isn't a huge amount of cross-polination when it comes to Toyota seats.

Also, be aware that the Supra seats sit VERY low compared to most ones, and being designed for a sports car rather than an offroader, they won't have the same 'bounce' on the base.

Ah yeah, wasnt really thinking about that one... I could manage to go lower in my RN85, but the 75 series... might be a bit too low! Thanks for the input good buddy.

I sold a pair of JZA80 Supra seats to a guy who put them into a 90's Hilux (not sure which model exactly)...

Apparently the only mod it needed was to grind off the 5th bolt hole tab (the rear inner mounting point bolts to the floor and the transmission tunnel in the Supra) and they went straight in!

Might be worth looking into if you want to upgrade the 'lux.

Yeah awesome idea, I'll keep that one in mind. At the moment I'm enjoying my bench lol
Might upgrade one day soon... friend wants buckets in the Cruiser so he can put the fridge between the seats, I might feel the same need one day, but until then...
