if I do fix it, it won't run - the belt slipped under full power, which suggests it just wasn't tight enough (for reasons as yet unknown) - I'll try and limp it down there

quick question, it starts at 8.30am, but if i was to say rock up at like 10-11-12am could i still enter my car to run it? or what goes on there?

there shouldn't be a problem in that GtiRboy. essentially its a case of sooner you get there the sooner you run your car.

from previous experience i've found that by getting there around 11 means you get to run your car around 2ish.

There is a limit to the number of cars that can be run (around 50 or so)
If you get there late and the quota hasn't been filled you'll get a run. I think there were people rolling up last time around midday and they would have run if the dyno hadn't packed it in.

Good news.... I just got the Sprinter back so if I can get my arse in gear today I might get it on the rollers for a slight (read very minor) improvement.

well im tossing up if i will make it or not, car is running with rego, but needs a good going over on the laptop before i can run it hard on the dyno...
