    Default South Aussie Toymods Cruise

    Hey Guys,

I was wondering who would be interestded in a toymods cruise in the near future. I would be happy to organise it if there were a decent amount of ppl interested and commited.

It would be open to all Toymods fourm members and their Toyota driving friends, I would like to keep it strickly Toyota.

Im open to suggestions of Dates, Times (Night or Day), different roads to include, stops, anything.

I think it would be a better cruise if it had everybodys imput. So please feel free to use this thread as a suggestion box and we can make this thing happen.

    Imput Appreciated,

*EDIT* Cruise now the Sat 20th of May, meeting 11am at Mile End Home Maker Centre off the new city bypass road.

Sounds like a great idea mate I've only had my MA61 supra for a short amount of time but I'd still be keen to get together sometime in the future with the other SA fellas and go for a nice weekend drive.

Food stop would be good But I think we should make it somewhere nice in like a quiet country town area or something ie no fast food joints

Yer i work shift work to, so i only have every thrid weekend off.

So it looks like every one is keen for a food stop, thats sounds very sensible. Day cruises are always fun, especially if we get a nice day, and there is always less cop trouble in the say, espec on weekends.

Hey yeah im totally down and i know a mate who has a ke55 coupe who would probably be down. Im still at school so weekends would be best for me. probably in the afternoon cos i like to sleep in

maybe go for a cruise upto towards the birdwood? stop at the rocking horse maybe? or just hit some of the roads up in the hills? ya know, tis all good. perhaps mid-late May would be good, give ppl enough time to organise it etc..

Yer weekends were a given. Hills also are a essential part of a good cruise. Does everyone like to give it a little boot through the hills or are there some who like to rake it easy.

I'm down like a Tasmanian miner!
Like PlacentaJuan said, weekends are not always ideal, but I do have a few weekends off coming up, starting the 20th of may, before that I'm working this weekend & will be in Sydney next weekend. Otherwise I'd be happy to sacrifice a decent nights sleep for an evening cruise if I'm working the next day. My celica doesn't look likely to be back on the road for another month or two, but the trusty cressida is always up for some fun, & hopefully will have a new front swaybar to aid in it's enthusiasm for a hills cruise, although its forte will always be straight line speed.

So my vote's for the saturday the 20th for a day cruise, or either sat or sun the following weekend. Otherwise a fri or sat night anytime for the next month or so (apart from next weekend).

20th sounds great to me, gotta check and make sure my mate can come too though.

Did we decide on day or night? Meal or snack stop? Possible route?

I should be right for the 20th, although I'm not 100% sure...I'd have to work at night though, so night's aren't a goer for me. Any ideas for where to meet or a route? Around the hills maybe?

    Cheers,
    Oddyssey
