can get oem 2jzge ecu on ebay for under 200 bucks... thats the ticket!
Hi all.
Ive got a 2004 2jzge vvti engine from a lexus is300. I am planning to swap this engine in to an older car.
To get it engineered i need an OEM Ecu (i dont have the original ecu). I was wondering if anyone knows if the is300 ecu will run the engine without alot of the accessories connected. Also i am not 100% sure if the australian versions have the immobilisor built in to the ecu. has anyone done an engine swap using this ecU?
Otherwise what would be the best alternative OEM Ecu to use to run the engine.
opinions would be much appreciated.
Cheers

If in doubt, drift her out! Steer from the rear! less traction, more action! simple!

Just do a pin count on the ECU plugs, and check out Yahoo Auctions in Japan. There is a good translation and link matrix available at Import Monser.com.au.
You have a PM,

I would expect the Australian delivered Lexus to have the immobiliser . The JDM ecu before 2001 are a possibility Good luck
