    Default w58 remote shift

Hey guys i am doing a manual conversion to my 1jz cressida.
    i have a w58 remote shift jza80 gearbox.
the remote shifter will come up someware neer the handbrake buy my mesurments.
has anyone changed to a standard shifter b4 .
i have done a search and come up with a few different options.

the standard shifter will bolt in place of the remote once the rear half of the box is removed .

    it wont work .

it will bolt up needs the hole in the selector shaft redrilled & taped .

u have to put the whole extension housing from the early box on there .

the early extension housings are not interchangable
who has done this & can pointt me in the right direction regards logan
