    Default more 1jz problems. limo mode

    OK finally gotmy cresida running nice.

    Now after a bit it's throwing error code 14. In limp miserable angle
    swapped the ignighter. Swapped the ecu. Tested continuity of the off cable.
    Still the same problem
    Now the catch is I can wiggle the o2 and crank angle wiring and itll fix itself
    After a quick squirt it will go back into limp mode

    Any one i need thos car for tbe weekend

    Ok ive been reading all morning on my phone.
    ive come actos this.

    'A basic overview of the system goes like this. The camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor sends a signal to the engine control computer. The engine control computer generates and IGT or trigger signal based on these two inputs. This IGT signal is sent to the igniter. The igniter in turn fires the ignition coil at the appropriate time. When the coil fires it releases secondary energy which triggers the igniter to send a confirmation signal or IGF signal back to the computer so the computer knows that the ignition coil did in fact function. When this code is set it means the computer is not recognizing that the ignition coil has fired so it shuts injectors down so that the system does not flood out'

    Ok so i could have faulty wiring on the crank angle sensor side of things hence when i wiggle it i can get it to stop.

    Might see if i can swap the cas tonight as i have a spare.

    I also noticed this
    Igniter Pinout, anyone have the missing info from this pic? - HybridZ
    this tells me the ignighter is internally grounded on a pin,
    when i swapped igniters i didnt bolt it up and it would not run.
    can any one confirm that the igniter does not deed ground?

    1j ignitors do not need to be earthed

    change crank sensor first
    bit of a pain to do but they do fail
    from my info code 12 and code 13 are to do with the cam and crank sensors

    code 14 is normally igt signal which is to do with coils and ignitor return signal to ecu
    but if u wiggle wires near o2 try pinpoint exactly where bad connection is by
    wiggling small sections not big sections

    Ok just changed crank angle.
    nothing changed still the same.
    went for a squirt and when it hits high rpms it goes into limp mode.

    and trips error 14 again.
    two ecus are pull the same error.
    tried fiddeling with the igf wire at the igniter and ecu and nothing.
    seems to have good continuity.
    im running out of idea ffs lol and i got matsuri in a couple days...

    Ended up being a crack in the wire to the 1 coil pack
