RT142 22r engine overheating?

hey guys ok got a 85 corona with the 2.4L 22r
its auto

now i can have it idling for like and hr and temp just sits halfway
but after about 30 mins of driving it starts to heat up to the start of the redline.
even if your going down a hill ar 1500rpm it wil start heating up
but sitting at aset of lights temp will start going down.

so firstly i changed the radiator cap.
got a new thermostat
did a coolant flush

and still does it

any suggestions before i get a new radiator?

blowing bubbles in the expansion tank?

if not maybe water pump impeller, highly unlikely, prob radiator core is internally blocked.

im thinkin radiator even though i can see its been changed before

....yeah radiator is blocked......got the same problem with my '22.......run it on the freeway with heaps of air getting through it and the temp gauge needle goes up rapidly.....rip it out and get it properly cleaned at a radiator shop.

i can only find brand new ones for about 220 so ill get that

Also check your fan clutch hub is OK
