Default Mk3 supra hid with denso ballasts help!

    Hey all
Don't know too much about hids other than that they are bright as, white and have ballasts haha
Basically I have a set of denso hid ballasts 85967-50020 and I want to fit them to my mk3 supra. The supra currently has normal h4 reflector style headlight housings, which bulbs will I need? Read something about d2s and d2r style bulbs? Will hids work with these headlights? Will I be able to retain the highbeams using these ballasts?
    Any help much appreciated

you can get hid kits for the mk3 supra... i believe its precision who make them... usually you get them in a group buy on supraforums.com.au and they cost about $200

ide suggest checking what bulbs they use then maybe seeing if the balasts are similar and going from there...

they definately to make a huge difference though

jaycar used to have kits for approx 150 - 160 bux from memory
    neil
    2009 aurion
    Purple 2000 Hilux - 1UZ

assembly is just the opposite of disassembly - just you swear in different spots!

Yea I had a look at jaycar they do a dual beam h4 xenon kit for $99, was thinking of maybe getting it then using my ballasts?
Another option is I found this kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....:X:RTQ:AU:1123
This appears to come with pretty much everything bar ballasts, and for $41 is pretty tempting
OR the other option at this point is, a site called "the retrofit source" they sell a relay harness designed to fit h4 bulbs and can supply a set of pigtails that will connect directly to my ballasts. My main misgiving with this kit is that there is only 1 relay and the wiring appears to be rather small, very similar to the kits sold on ebay from China

Does anyone know how to make a dual beam harness? as I could then use individual relays for each side with appropriately sized wiring
