Default TECCWA - 2011 Motorvation Entries

    Motorvation 25
    Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th January 2011

    Hi All..

the time has come to start organising for MV2011.

Motorvation - one of Australia's greatest street machine, hot rod and custom car events at the Quit Motorplex will again be held over two big days in January 2011 for their 25th Anniversary.
For those who have never been all the info on the event can be found here: http://www.motorplex.com.au/motorvation

Actually entering the show and participating in the events is such a different spin on the whole event - it really is a must do for anyone thinking about it..
I'm sure the testimonials from the prior year entrants will all agree its heaps of fun, and they'll probably all do it all again.

Please note, this is a massive modified car event, so your grandma's Corolla with a CD player in it will not qualify.
The organisers of Motorvation are looking for cars with significant interior, exterior and engine modifications

Cars entered are not at my discretion, you will be asked to provide photo's of your car with your entry and the crew at the Quit Motorplex will judge as to wether your car is show worthy or not. If you are unsure if your car is modified enough or not, feel free to post some pics here (or a link) and I will offer comments. .

Early entries cost $100 per car and close around 30 September 2010. (after this date, entry jumps to $150 per car)
I hope to get a majority of our club entries in by then. Please express your interest before this date.
You can register for online entries here: http://competitors.motorplex.com.au/...ode=list&pid=4
or Downloadable entry forms here: http://www.motorvation.com.au/docume...entry_form.pdf
At "club/group I will display with" put TECCWA

It's great exposure for the club and generally a good weekend of car related madness.
Hoping TECCWA will make a massive debut at Motorvation 25!

So if you would like to enter under the TECCWA banner - please express your interest and car details here.

    Thanks guys
    Damo

Well, I'm hoping my goal of having SPIDA back on the road by January isn't too unrealistic, and I can always get a refund if it's not, so mark me down as interested.

May end-up being SPIDAs first showing with it's new paint work :-)

Would be nice to think I'd have mine up to spec by that point but unlikely - really need to get a closed door respray done before too long and rims re-coated...and piping re-done...and...and....

Keen to come and watch though!

    does grass drifting count?
there's also go-whoa and slalom driving events on the drag strip.

but its mainly a show and shine type event with a bit of cruisin around the motorplex thrown in
