    Default CCG DYNODAY - 26 March 2006

All welcome to the CCG Dynoday & BBQ!!!

UPDATE: Please invite anyone you like to pay the $40 on the day and have a run! List of contenders so far below.

    When: Sunday 26 March 2006
Where: Pulford Racing Engines, 13-15 Kemble Court Mitchell
Start time: 9.00 am for the first lot of cars to start to get sorted to turn the rollers at 9.30am. Suggest you come along to watch all the others run too.
Cost: Only $40 per run! (& u can pay for more than one run in any car)
Payment: We need money up front to confirm numbers by Sunday 19 March 06! $40 up front IN CASH (do we look like a bank) so please get to either Phil or me by Sunday 19 March 2006.
    For payment or more info:
Phil Eacott - 0412 699144(AH only) - [email protected] (Richardson)
Mitch Sloan - 0408 994410(AH only) - [email protected] (live Garran – work Civic if it helps)
Format: The format will be the same as last time...first in with the $40 gets the next slot until we run out of slots, we also have cars from the MR2 and Valvebounce club joining in so get your booking in soon. Remember No $$$ no Run!
Food: We will have the famous Celica BBQ 'Chuck Trailer' up and cooking with $1.50 snag sangas etc. and $1.00 cans of drink.
Trophies: Some trophies will be available for limited categories.
Of course all non members/spectators are welcome to come along and have a chat and watch the cars run. We are very social!
(Sorry to all the 4WD Yotas out there. We STILL cant get any of the 4WD Dynos to run our format….all we want is for them to be cheap, fast, run lots of cars and be social!)
    Cheers
    Mitch & Phil

    HI,

I plan on checking it out, but won't be putting my car on the dyno for fear of embarrasment.

    See ya,
    Jason

Cmmmmmmoooooooonnnnn Jase! Its never embarassing no matter what the KW are. At least for only $40 you get to see whet it makes and more importantly we always run the air/fuel mixture is so you can see how your tune is. You gave to run it just to show off such an excellent example your ride is.
    Cheers Mitch

We are not sure if putting up a list is OK to do with some people getting a bit touchy with details. What about if we put stuff like:
    1. Mitch - TA22 - 3TGT
    2. Shane - KE20 - 4AGTE
    Cheers Mitch

    Hey Mitch,
compliments go a long way with me, especially when they're directed towards my car But I'm afraid I have to save some money to buy one of Phil's front spoilers, so I won't be taking the mighty 2T-G onto the dyno

    See ya there,
    Jason

I might swing by and say hello, never been to a dyno day before.

Unfortunately I have a 4ac in a crappy state of tune so theres probably not much reason to run it.

I might change my mind once I get out there though.

    Hi Ben and Moppitt.
Yep all our CCG events are just social events so definately swing by and say Hi, even if you may not run your ride.

I still say that the most imortant part of running your car on the dyno is not just the top KW figure but more importantly we run the air/fuel meter so you get to see how your engine is running too. For only $40 you sort of get a health check on its fuel ratio and you see what your ride spins up too!

Hope to see you guys there! Cheers. Mitch

    Ben - AE82 4A-C

1984, If im running the 'rolla then thre will be no shame in whatever you do.

This should give me a 'before' figure for when i build a 4A-GTE
