    Default OBD2 Connector problems

    Hey.

I own a 1999 Toyota Hilux, with the 3RZ-FE engine in it and I am having problems connecting my ELM327 interface with my car. The software i use detects the battery voltage, but then when it tries to communicate with the ECU it fails. The interface does work on other cars. So i thought the car's OBD2 terminal may be wired wrong as i can't find an OBD2 wiring diagram to match the layout of it.

Currently the wires are as follows on the OBD2 connector:

Pin 4 - White with black stripe wire
    Pine 7 - Red wire
Pin 9 - Red with white stripe
    Pin 13 - Purple wire
Pin 14 - Red with yellow stripe
Pin 16 - White with blue stripe.

Does anyone know where i can get a schematic of the ECU to OBD2 connector?
Also, does anyone know where i can get tuning software compatible with ELM327?

    Thanks

My OBD2 reader worked on mine when I still had the 3RZ in mine
