Vac leak?
bad tune?
fucked spark plugs maybe..
I'd be looking for vac leaks first.. There is a screw on the TB to conrol the ICSV wind it all the way in and see if it makes any difference with the ilde.
edit; also check timing.
Hi just have a problem with the idle in a ae92 4agze corolla.
Idle is around 1.5k-2k.
Tried pulling out the tps plug, no effect, plug back in, no effect.
Ecu im using is the EMS stinger v4.

I'd guess a vacuum leak post TB (possibly vaccum line that's fallen off). But some more info would help.
Has it always been a problem? Or did it just start one day? Do you have the ISCV connected? If so how is it driven from the Stinger? etc.

PS - Above suggestion is assuming it's MAP sensed. If it's AFM then ignore. Also would be helpful to know if it's MAP or AFM.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
Its MAP, just happened tonight, switched back from a friends airbox so had the intake pipe off and decided to spray some TB cleaner to give it a clean. then when I drove the car at the lights the idle started to rise.
No visible vac leaks, (where is a good vac line to test vacuum with a boost gauge, this engine is really different to mazda and nissans)
Can't afford a tune at the moment.
Will change spark plugs soon, oil etc but I think the spark plugs are fine.
The idle isnt erratic/hunting or anything, its like the TB is stuck open. Will have another look after TAFE tomorrow though
