He's implying that they aren't a genuine Japanese brand wheel and therefore don't fit the "JDM" style (as they aren't a Japanese aftermarket wheel). Both Sportmax and Axis are American brands that build knock-offs of original Japanese designs (similar to what Rota, Lenso et al do too).

They may not actually be made in Japan, though I think they are still made in Asia, but they sure looked plenty Japanese in style. Either way it was a seriously cool car for an L plater in my opinion, clean straight and just looked right.

whats with all the heat about the wheels on that ke70 they are hyashi street fin copies and they may be american brands but they arent made in america ...........by jdm spec he means jdm style or look

plus not every one can afford a couple of grand for real japanese wheels
