Time is priceless yet it costs us nothing. You can do anything you want with it but you can't own it.You can spend it but you can't keep it.And once you've lost it, there is no getting it back, it's just gone."

It ended up raining but the event was held in the undercover parking. Just got home a while ago, as i was leaving they were halfway through the raffle draw, then after that would be the trophies. Was my first Toymods event and everyone was really friendly, can't wait for future meets/shows. Awesome job Dave!

thanks guys for putting on a great show again, i will be back for toyota nationals
I want to say a big thank you to everybody that helped me out today. I think the kind, generosity, assistance and patience everybody showed toyday is good example of the health of the club.
My alternator appears to have give up and left me stranded just down the road from the hills center. After getting a jump start the car seemed okay again and I got into the queue to enter the show where the car died again.
Thank you the Canberra Celica guys who helped push the car out of the way and helped me jump start it into life again. Unfortunately this was to no avail and the car died again and hence we suspected the alternator.
With the car down for a second time, We just pushed it into its spot. Thank you to everybody that helped here there were many of you including Toymods board members who where already busy organising everybody.
Rob your a champ He happened to have a spare alternator at home and arranged for one of his family members to bring it down. Sorry I didn't catch his name. With some quick help from Blake and Anhar (have i got the spelling right?), we swapped alternators.
With a Jump start from Anhar the car was back again and seemed okay. The car drove home no trouble and battery now seems to be back to full charge and I can start the car off the battery again. Which seems to confirm it was the alternator.
Thank you to all again for making a potentially terrible day it to an enjoyable one.
Aren't 20yrd, 4wd turbo cars wonderful
Also new venue is a great choice for many reasons including that it is easy to get out from. No more queuing for 30mins to leave the car park.
