emanage ultimate problems

hey guys,
thought id post a quick question. I have a mx83 + 1jz + Emanage ultimate. It was working fine but the other day i noticed the led on the emu is now flashing red. According to the manual the quick flashing red led means
"When self diagnostic has detected an error" or it could be "when warning is activated"

Now ive searched through the emanage manual but it has not troubleshooting section. I tried to plug the laptop to the emc via usb but for some reason the notebook, emanage program doesnt detect the car.

anyone have any thoughts?

No idea, but get over too soarercentral and look, plenty of info there on Emanage, Cihan on there sells and tunes Emanage so look for his posts or PM him.

Have a look on diytuning.com - there is software, manuals etc galore on there.

What cable are you using?

What operating system are you using? I haven't been able to get Vista to talk to my EMU.

If it counts for anything, i was able to use my EMB with gf's vista laptop

If your EMU wont talk , your software may need updating ?

hey guys, thanks for your replies
im running windows 7, maybe thats got something to do with it
the cable came with the car when i bought it, so i rekon it should work fine
i tried going through the instruction manual and installation guides but there is no troubleshooting sections

my windows 7 and EMB work fine.
Maybe something has changed ie driving conditions (colder maybe) change in fuel setting may be req'd.

just a thought.

interesting ..might just get the car dynoed to see how its running

can anyone recommend a tuner in sydney that has experience with the emanager ultimate?
