also check for:
air leaks between AFM and throttle (including any small piping)
Aux air valve not opening/working or in need of a clean.
can;t help with AFM resistor values but 7mgte might be similar (wild guess only).
hi guys im just got my first soarer last week (87 1ggte) anyway it was runnin well till monday we decided to go for a trip to wivenhoe to checkout the dams got the car a bit damp in the proccess now it will barely idle let alone run and is overfueling terribly ive traced the problem down to the airflow meter (pretty sure) was just wondering if anyone knew what the resistance values of the afm should be so i can check it out. gate type 197100-3320
any help or anyone who has experienced a similar problem that could help me fix it would be very much appreciated thanks =)

thx ill have a check is the aux air valve the gadget on the end of the pipe that runs across to the manifold from the splitter just before the turbos?
fixed kinda well dodgied it up with a few resistors think im gonna go for a 1j conversion
can't find another AFM? There will be more than a few left laying around after folks have gone aftermarket ECU on the 1G
